First accepted illustration

posted on 17th of march, 2010

Ssoo...thank you, DT!

It's made from a photo, taken by me during a cave tour (I'll create an article about it soon). I'm not a PS master, but I use some effects on it - mostly accidentally :) - and it seems the result can be accepted by Admins. If it will sell well, I'll upload some more, but let test it first...cheer for me :)

Optional question: how do You create illustrations?

PS: Yesterday I've made my 100th sale on DT...with an other cave photo! :D
Thank you, dear Buyers!

Congratulations on your 100th sale. I make my illustrations with a lot of hair pulling and head banging LOL, so I don't think you'll want tips from me ;P

Nice pictures. If you want to create illustrations, I can tell you that Adobe Illustrator is a easy drawing program to use, you can find tutorials on internet also. I learned this program by myself, with tutorials help. All you need is patience, and a little bit of talent. Everybody has talent, they just have to use it. :).
I'll be glad to help, if you have any questions.
Good luck.

in one of my travels, some sweet old latina grannie of 90 (yes, honestly, she was 90, and she lived in Atenas, the city National Geographics once called one of the healthiest spot in the world),.. anyway, she told me ,"..there is no such thing as accidental.. or coincidence;
things happen because you are meant to find it...(by accident),"

i wish you more "accidental" discoveries :)

About me

I've started photographing a few years ago with a compact cam. In 2008 november I decided to buy a DSLR cam, and I chose a Pentax k10d. Now I'm upgraded into a Pentax K-3 for more details. I think I'm good at nightscenes - however, I don't like to take photos about people, so my pics sometimes seems a little static - mainly for Stock photographing, but I don't give up. :) Lots of my photos are based on R... [Read more]
