out of the ordinary

posted on 19th of march, 2010

When I shot this photo,I wasn't sure if would have have any commercial value. Thanks to a willing model and good friend,we decided to give it a try. We got some pretty strange looks from people passing by but we didn't let that deter us. This file has now had twenty views and three downloads. Let your imagination fly and try some out of the ordinary shots. You never know what might be one of your better sellers. Most importantly, have FUN!

concepts are exactly just that! it's very subjective, and unless you are someone with a mental block to not see a conceptual idea in someone else's image, there is always lots of room and usage for conceptual images.
as they say, the sky 's the limit for anyone who cares to imagine.

i love conceptual images because if one reviewer rejects that image, i simply shrug and give it to another reviewer who will love it.

keep it up. it's what makes shooting for stock so interesting.

Ouch! I assume that the model was not a person that really used/needed a wheel chair?! It is a very unique idea, though.

Thats a great point!
It is easy to tie yourself to strict guidelines you create about what works, we all need to get creative with our shots - isn't that why we first enjoyed photography?
