A photographer without a Camera

posted on 23rd of april, 2010

Oh no!!Oh My!! What shall I do????I had to send my new camera back to Canon for repair, not sure, what is wrong with it. Anyway, I thought after shipping it. WHAT will I do? I have a point and shoot but it is broke also. My daughter has one but it does not take great photos. I could do some creative work with my photo program (photo Impact 12)??? I could go thru all my old files and see if I left out any great ones???I could go to the beach but I would feel naked without my camera.OH me oh my. Decisions decisions …I could do nothing. Nay... maybe just spend time with my loved ones. And maybe do all of the above. Have a great week end everyone
Hugs Debbie

You might want to ask a friend to lend you a camera, or check out camera rentals - if a crucial photo opportunity comes up.

Otherwise, I agree, this will be a great time to reflect and to be with family and friends without the lens between you - and good luck with your Canon repair. smiles - Ann

Some times taking a little rest is good.

I believe that things happen for a reason. You are meant to have a time out. Easy for me to say...when my camera broke I was in a tizzy:):) Let us know how it all turns out!

Relax and enjoy your family, sounds like a great idea! Maybe your daughter could take some pics of you. I'm never in our photos when we go somewhere cos I take them all LOL :) You could always take a sketch pad out with you and give that a go too ;)

Relax and enjoy because we the ones that always brought the cameras never have the time to enjoy as the rest do.... Your camera will return soon, and who knows maybe the next time you will prefer to relax and enjoy some more.

I believe you can use a scanner to make images of high quality. Perhaps another member can confirm this ? David.
