Published on cover of National Geographic Guide

posted on 23rd of july, 2010

Today I was surprised to find the Guide for Romania in German from National Geografic, with one of the cover photographs being mine.
It is so hard to actually find where your work has been posted or published that I was actually quite happy to see this one.

Here is the black and white version of the photograph used on the book, but bellow you can see the book itself.

You can check the book here: Romania, National Geographic Guide.

Along with this one, on amazon I found two over books for children where I was given photo credits and an educational book for adolescents: Teens in Greece.

It is pretty cool!

So how about you? Where has your work been published?

Congratulations, that's quite an achievement!

As for me, I only found 3 uses of my images, when I googled for my Dreamstime ID + Dreamstime (Tuscany landscape (representing Rhone valley, lol), father and toddler image, and hiking with kids image.

How did you find your image?

It's exciting to find where our photos were being used. It is an another part of microstock fun besides earning some pocket money.

@ Obrugman - I search my name on Google. Ex. name +photo; name+photo credits; etc...
Ofc ourse it is not as easy to browse through the results, but sometimes I am lucky to find them.

Congratulations Gabriela, and this particular photo really deserves it. Also interesting to see National Geographic now use stock photos.

Could you share with us how you find your photos in other places. Just through Google, or do you use other tricks?
