News lens & new destination - Beirut !!

posted on 9th of september, 2010

Today I arrived in Beirut where I will be staying for next week or so. I have been very impressed so far with Beirut and look forward to getting out and about and taking lots of pictures. Before I left I made sure to invest in a new camera lens to ensure the best possible photographs. Lebanon has so much history to see and with my new lens I can go out and capture the historical beauty in crystal clear pictures. I am excited to see more of Lebanon and of course take more pictures with my new lens.
Taking pictures here and a nice holiday is not the only reason for the trip here. For the past six months I have been working on a project with a Lebanese Filmmaker, called Nations United. You can read more about what I will be doing for Nations United via this blog post I made last week on my ptoone blog, here. If you want to stay up to date with my trip here and can't wait to see some of my approved photographs on DT then you can get updates via the ptoone blog at this link: http://www.ptoone.com/index/blog/
