When you get a present....

posted on 27th of september, 2010

The set of my new images was caused by getting a present. When my friend gave me a small bunch of dry lavender, I immediately liked it - the color and the shape. I observed it for awhile and suddenly I knew I would want to use it for my new photos. I have got lavender candles and salt and I have started to prepare the set. It has been very pleasant to make these images, so I have continued with creation - even without lavender.

When you get a present, try to use it also for photos. Especially when you get a beautiful gift that you like. If you get red socks, perhaps you won´t be as enthusiastic as you would like to make immediately new photos. (Although red socks can be really great for creating funny photos:...

Welcome page of DT

posted on 30th of september, 2010

Do you know what I like best on the new welcome page of DT?
When you make research with a keyword, the welcome page of DT remains with small thumbnails of the searched topic for the rest of the day. For example, last week I wanted to show images of puppies to my little niece, anytime I have clicked on DT page that day, small images of puppies welcomed me.

In these days I have been welcomed by gorgeous angels, mystical zodiac, charming wolves, smiling dolhins, beautiful roses, magical lilies, blue green ocean waves.... today I have put in research area "smile" and anytime I clicked on the DT link, I am welcomed by many small smiles :-)

Smiles on your face, angelic light in your souls is wishing you Starblue :-)

Great observation; as I rarely log out of DT, I hadn't noticed this feature before, thanks for pointing it out.
Can you see your vertical images as well? It seems to me that only the thumbnails of horizontal shots make it to the welcome page...
