my Canadian trip

posted on 19th of september, 2010

During this summer I got to leave my quite house in Italy to fly all the way over the Ocean and land in Canada,I didn't get to visit it all, otherwise I should have spent more then the four weeks I was there but really enjoyed my trip.
While being there even took a tour around the Rockies to discover some amazing spot, that maybe some of you already know, but they were quite surprising for me so want to share some of what I saw with you...this was right beside the road © Yuritz (Help)

so we stopped for few minutes with the bus:

the Peyto lake was one of the surprising spot I was mentioning over:

then a visit to the Columbia icefield, nice to walk on it for a while: © Yuritz (Help) ...

replying to: Digitalexpressionimages ,I'm really glad it worked even this way,far from my thoughts, but really glad.
Don't know,I'm used,if you see my portfolio,to shoot alot next to where I live, not having the opportunities to go around much, most because of the less time;so I found it nice to shoot at the same things always with different eyes,it even a nice exercise and you can discover something you didn't notice before

What I find funny is that I live in Canada and being surrounded by these things all the time I never think to photograph them. I would go to Italy and shoot things that you might find ho hum as well because you see them everyday. Who knows. You've reminded me to look at my surroundings with objective eyes and see it as a visitor might. Perhaps I'll be able to see the wonder again and photograph things I ignored in the past. Nice work.
