There is less than a week till the night of Halloween will begin!
In my country, this holiday is not that popular, but it begins to increase in popularity in the last years.
I remember thought when I use to live in the U.S that this holiday was fascinating me. I loved it! Every family in the neighborhood with no exception use to decorate their houses, one spookier than the other.
Halloween is becoming popular in Italy too: many children and guys use to dress up and going to parties... It's not in our tradition, we only use to visit our death relatives and friends in graveyards on 1st and 2nd nov, but it's becoming a loved celebration. Happy Halloween everybody!
Halloween in Mexico is celebrated the 2nd of November, is actually called Day of the Death and is a very ancient tradition, is a no labor day and there aren't school classes that day, and the reason to celebrated is that we remember all of our dead friends and family, many people go to the cemetery and to the churches to pray for those that had gone before us. The most incredible thing is that this tradition has been celebrated even before Spaniards conquered Mexico.
