I experienced the same "technical error" when i wanted to upload. I tried deactivating the firewall but I couldn't get rid of the problem. So I took the adivce of the DT staff. I started using the FTP upload with the Filezilla client that they recommend. I have to say, much easier this way. Good luck!

Yeah, when you turn off the firewall, it works.

windows 7

go to
control panel>>>system&security>>>windows firewall>>>turn it off

hope it will solve your problem

Sometimes it is the firewall causing this so a workaround would be to disable the firewall from your Windows. Or use the FTP upload.

I guess you'd have to use the ftp upload until they fix it.

Hi Kodols. This error happens when I try to upload from my office. It's blocked by a door from the firewall. but can also happen with a wrong version from the Java softh.

But with older java it just says that i need the new version to be able upload.

I contacted support for this same error and it turned out that its the new Java update.
I used the ftp upload with filezilla and it works, but i was told that since the dreamstime applet is not working i should downgrade java to and older version.

To be honest i think dreamstime should fix their applet :P
