How to promote our portfolio to increase sale?

posted on 5th of december, 2012

Dear friends,

Happy Christmas to you all (in advance :D)

I have a silly question and hope you don't mind.
Is there any media (like face book, twitter or blog) to promote ours portfolio ourselves to increase the sale? Will it be effective? I believe DT will do it but I don't know is it better if we also do the promotion.

Hope all of you have better sale in this coming festive season.

Hi there! Nice portfolio ! I am just starting with DT and also am on FB. For myself I find that there is a really fine line as to what is appropriate with FB due to their policies about ownership.

Agree with Angelaravaioli. Her advice is very good. Also would like to add that Facebook really can help with sales.

I think that to boost sales should also upload lot and diversify, increase the picture quality of photos, send original subjects, taking a cue from the reasons why the pictures are discarded ... in short, a great job. Your portfolio is very nice!

Hi Chanevy, I like your idea. I will try it out. Same as you I also don't know how to track where our sales come from.. :D
Hello Alexlp, Thank you for your time commenting here. I believe you will have more images online soon and sales will follow as well. Keep uploading.

I have a Facebook page and blog often. Try to be helpful and provide cross links between the two. Is there a way to track where our sales come from? I haven't found a way to track this. I also post some affiliate links for resources that I like. I try to be honest, have fun, and make a little money. My opinion is that increased views will eventually lead to increased sales if I keep increasing the quality of my pictures.
