Legendary actress, supermodel and artist Veruschka (Vera Lehndorff) recently visited Moscow and presented her photo exhibition "Self-Portraits. New York. 1994 - 1998". I was lucky to attend a master-class she gave and I had an opportunity to take pictures of this extraordinary woman!

Veruschka is 73 and she looks like a Countess (and she really is!). Her smile is happy and welcoming, but in her eyes there’s something saying that she still might not has overcome those times when little Vera had to leave her homeland and live in war camps. But those times had not made her a victim – Vera became Veruschka, a world-famous supermodel and actress who worked with Michelandgelo Antonioni and Salvador Dali; she’s also a painter now, and she’s looking forward to new creative projects!

Besides the photographs and original costumes, Veruschka presented her book – “Veruschka. My life”. Olga Sviblova, Director of Multimedia Art Museum (where the exhibition is held) told she read the book in one night! It seems to be intriguing and full of mysteries and unexpected discovers, as well as Countess Vera Lehndorff herself. From such a great personality one cannot expect less.
