What Dreamstime taught me...

When first time I joined Dreamstime and uploaded the photos I've took which I thought I did an awesome job with them, just rejected one and other. Not a single photo I've took is accepted. I was almost give up...

But a line on a book I've read inspired me and I decided to be very persistent about it. The line was that; "A BURNING DESIRE TO BE, AND TO DO is the starting point from which the dreamer must take off. Dreams are not born of indifference, laziness, or lack of ambition."

That line fired the idea of uploading my illustration works for a start. I was doing them over years for print - since 2005 I think. And print sales are not so good - well actually there's really really few, like $50 after 2-3 years through some very famous and well known print selling sites. I took them off from online...

Persistence and patience are so important! I actually recently purchased a nifty fifty lens because I was told it was very good.

Persistence is the key to everything in life. Our field is no different. Your art is beautiful and you are lucky to live in Istanbul which offers endless photo opportunities. Good luck.
