My first model shoot images accepted and are now up and ready in my portfolio. This was my first shoot ever with a model intended for my stock business. I hope they gonna sell well, and im thinking of taking a lot of image with this model. Easy to work with and good looking, huge smile and awesome personality.
The shoot were very easy. I have shot a few people before, but not for my stock portfolio. Just basic profile images and so on. So i have some experience with shooting people:)
You know when you are on top of your game when you get this error message from DT :).
"Error: Due to the massive uploads, you can only make 53 submissions per week. Please continue the upload process after 7 days have passed since your first submission." - Have 63 pending files as im writing this.
It means that you are really committing to your portfolio and shooting a lot of great images.
That error message = good stuff, you should ALWAYS keep your upload que full. Always have a steady flow of images in to your portfolio.
- I have just invested in my first off camera flash and find it VERY good for food photography and so on, love the soft light you can get out of it by bouncing it of walls and ceilings. Im also gonna use it for my portraits etc soon.
This month has been great!
I have taken a lot of images i many different situations and locations.
I have never been this productive in stock before. I guess it pays of to shoot shoot shoot, and learn about your mistakes and rejections.
I have 56 accepted image this month, and thats feels great. May not sound a lot to all professionals out there. But for me its a quite of a achievement, as i have a busy life working in the security sector.
I have now passed over 200 images online :).
I have learn a lot the last two months, it may sound like a cliché but i wanna be successful in stock, success to me, does not just mean the income. I wanna see my image out there in the real world. I have found some of my images being used and that really warms my heart....
