Almost everything sells, always think as a buyer not as a photographer.

check what sells best, upload a lot and keep learning.

So all in all I must upload huge numbers of images to be successful ?

Not quite. To be successful you must upload huge amount of stock oriented and excellent performed images. :)

For sure, white backgrounds (255, 255, 255) sell better. Obviously, for designers it is simple and fast to cut object from white background and put it on any background they want. Therefore, in fact, white background means ANY BACKGROUND.

For me the Isolated ones.

I'm browsing for couple of days now. and played some stock rank. and the most selling ones are the isolated ones. Not saying that they are better - but they are selling more :)

Can anyone answer my question of how to add a photo to a blog? It tells me I can't submit it without adding a photo and I don't see anywhere to add one. Thank you!

Astormfr gave you good advices. If I can add to them, I would say to upload regularly. I've always heard it is better to upload a few images every week rather than a big bunch every 2-3 months. Also, it seems that becoming exclusive might help you. Good luck!!!

1- creat a blog post on it (done!)
