posted on 30th of june, 2014

Hello Dreamstime Bloggers,

Let me show you how to use the new cropping tool to create beautiful blog posts:
Step 1 - Click on the crop image button.
Step 2 - Enter the image ID that you want to crop and click "Load image".- you can use only dreamstime.com images.
Step 3 - Select on the image the desired area you want to crop and click "Crop & insert".

After step 3 the pop-up will close and a code for the selected crop will show in the text area

If you want to view the post and the cropped images before publishing, click on the Preview button.

You can make more than one crop on a single image id:

The lack of watermark on the middle is a huge invitation to steal these crops!!! Wonder if DT staf know what you are doing! This is the way you are protecting our work?!

Just a tip, it should have a larger watermark somwhere in the middle, because we can save the image and easily strip out the little corner watermark.

Good to know, I was wondering how some people could do this. Thanks.

Shouldn't this retain the watermark? It seems like a trivial way to get access to the a higher res photo...

The tool is so intuitive -- I just used it for the first time and I love it! Nice addition and beautiful photo examples :)
