New Camera Review

Cameras, if you’re reading this you probably have one, or two or three…
And you might be wondering do I need another one?
Last year I was wondering that too and decided to jump the gun and change things up a bit. Instead of getting a new Nikon I decided to go much, much smaller and got a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100.
And after almost 9 months, here’s my (very) simplified review as I’m writing this at midnight.

This camera is great. In fact it’s fantastic.
First of all, it’s small which is great for two important reasons.
One, I’m little (the size of the average 8 year old) and having a camera that’s light and easy to pack makes a huge difference when traveling. I can just throw it in my backpack and off I go. I still bring my other cameras, but all of the bodies and the...

I've always wanted a really great camera, the kind of quality in an SLR, but have never had the expendable cash to buy one... I've seen great pictures from both Lumix and Nikon cameras, and judging by the wonderful examples you show here, and in your portfolio, their popularity is well-founded!

As a go-between, I nabbed a Sony DSCH300 Bridge camera, and hopefully I'll be able to take some halfway decent pictures on my next trip to Atlanta!

Nice photos. Again driving home the point the photograph is made by the photographer, not necessarily the camera. And your photos speak for themselves. Very nicely done.

Good article and photos. I've still got an older Lumix, which is still going strong, so hopefully, yours will last a good long while.
