First Time, Blog!

posted on 5th of april, 2017

So, its my first time blogging hear on Dreamstime. I'm Christopher and a keen photographer and graphic designer, working on setting up my own portfolio of work.

Have been using Dreamstime for a few years now and have 167 images on my portfolio and am building up some sales.

My preferred type of photography is Landscape, Location, and Product photography. Although I don't have the best set up i've recently passed my driving test and look forward to getting out with the camera to more locations.

...oh and i'm Team Nikon btw.

I look forward to blogging more about my adventures and sharing more photographs with the community on Dreamstime soon.

I am in the process of building my own small graphic design and photography business but sharing this post from my website only because it goes...

Over the past few weeks I've just passed my driving test and got myself on the road. Looking forward to accessing more locations with the camera.

Anyway on with this blog. I've been off work for the Spring break and arranged a catch up with my mate Alex. It was Alex that introduced me to DSLR cameras over my mighty old Samsung compact a few years back.

We met up and went up to Culross last week, beautiful wee old coastal town on the river Forth.

The wind blew as I walked along the pier wasn't until I came down that we noticed the sign mentioning we shouldn't use in strong winds, but yolo and all.

On the return home we stopped in Linlithgow, been here a few times, already got some images online of Linlithgow Palace, I put those on a while ago.

Coasts often brings nice light...

Back on Camera

Saturday the 22nd April was lovely sunny day, albeit a bit cold outside. Lighting was perfect to capture some images.

I decided to travel to Loch Leven as its a place I've heard of but never been to before. I was unsure what to expect. So here goes, i type 'Loch Leven' into the Sat Nav and on the road I go.

Ended up lost down a farm track but gave me the opportunity to steal a few snaps.

Eventually I made it to a place called 'Loch Leven Larder' this was a small garden centre type place was quite different and went a wander down to the Loch or at least attempted to.

After speaking with some of the locals I found that there was a castle and boathouse further round the loch.

Had a fantastic time at Loch Leven although their was enough...
