So it hit the news this morning that the South African based company Steinhoff International is to take over the British discount store Poundland. They've settled on the figure of £597m, so a bit more than just £1 :)

It's a bit weird that I decided to go out and shoot the local high street the other day and took a few editorial shots of shop signs. Poundland was one of the shops I decided to photograph. Here's the image (it's vertical so you'll have to click on it to get the full effect)


My image of Poundland hasn't sold yet...but it might do with this story hitting the news! So grab your cameras and go and start shooting your local town / high street. Stock photography isn't all about fancy shots and artistic...
